My stories try to capture some of the flavor of our peculiar times\u2014where the people we are told to admire have a smile and a happy tune and their hand in our pockets, where government fails to serve its citizens and business ignores its customers and where people, against all odds, still fall in love, make friendships, worry about their parents and their children and somehow manage to muddle through with their dignity (somewhat? barely? perilously?) intact.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ted Krever went to Woodstock (the good one), worked in network news when it was trusted and the Internet when it was the Wild West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He helped create documentary programming for ABC News and at an independent production company for CBS, CNN, A&E, Court TV, MTV News, Discovery People and CBS\/48 Hours, and then websites as VP of a kamikaze dotcom. He has driven a 16-wheeler across the Rockies (once), shot 3am news footage in NY City, managed a revival-house movie theater and married twice, in a triumph of optimism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was once accused of attempting to blow up Ethel Kennedy with a Super-8 projector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
